This policy is applies to all endpoints (workstations, and servers) of the e-khool that have access to NPI, PII, or confidential company information. It also applies to the network to which they are connected. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, desktop, and laptop computers, file/FTP/TFTP/proxy servers, as well as any networking equipment, such as packet analyzers, that is capable of running application-based security mechanisms. It also includes the network itself. Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP), and Advanced Cyber Event (ACE) appliances, which actively scan for malware, viruses, ransomware, unusual behavior, abnormal activity, etc., report on, and alert on cyber events, and are scheduled to run full scans at regular intervals, must be installed on the systems , and networks, respectively, of all Company endpoints.
They also need to be maintained current. Any endpoint that has been discovered to have been compromised or attacked must be taken off the network until it has been confirmed that it is malware-free. It is the responsibility of administrators, and managers to design processes that check that security measures are up to date, are executed on a regularly, and that endpoints are malware-free. Any actions are taken with the purpose to introduce harmful software into the e-khool networks.
To help avoid cyberattacks, e-khool runs a managed Cyber Security Defense program, and will, as a result, impose policy-based regulations on active, and proactive anti-malware operations. Additionally, to ensure that sufficient precautions are taken to prevent cyber attacks, all employees, and Interested Parties should make use of the Cyber Defense Recommended Processes included below.
Employees, contractors, and others associated with e-khool will receive periodic reminders, usually weekly, about what to watch out for, and how to respond to cyber occurrences.
The aforementioned instructions will be regarded as a necessary duty, and a component of the recipients' job responsibilities.
Any employee who is discovered to have disobeyed this policy may face disciplinary action, which could result in termination.
